Brienne arrives at Riverrun. Arya seeks shelter. Jaime meets with Edmure Tully. Cersei challenges the Faith. Sandor Clegane hunts for revenge. Tyrion faces the consequences of earlier decisions.
In Braavos, Lady Crane finds the wounded Arya hidden in her chamber. She stitches her wounds and gives a potion to Arya to sleep. When Arya wakes up, she finds that the Waif has just killed Lady Crane and wants to kill her. Arya flees and is hunted down by the Waif. In Riverlands, Clegane seeks revenge and hunts down the men from the Brotherhood without Banners that killed the settlers; he stumbles upon Beric that invites him to join his group. In Meereen, life seems to be normal; however the Masters send vessels to attack the city. In King's Landing, Cersei challenges the Faith Militant and Gregor defends her killing one fanatic that has attacked him. Out of the blue, King Tommen announces a surprising decision that affects his mother and Loras. Brienne unsuccessfully tries to convince Blackfish to surrender his castle to Jaime. But Jaime makes a deal with Edmure that is released, returns to the castle and surrenders it to Jaime.
Oh, it could be a great episode, giving the plot of Arya one twist to justify the scene of the previous episode and give meaning to their entire stay in Bravos. But not. Screw the consistency and continuity. But before we talk about the other cores. King's Landing: seen by Mountain will not have much use for Cersei, as the High Sparrow is always forward and made his puppet king, prohibit trials by combat; and choose the violence did not help much to Cersei. Riverlands: Jaime, who stupid you came to be. Seriously Edmure simply changed his mind? And Black Fish deserved a more dignified death. A lot of people are complaining about the Arya story. I believe that is not correct.

It is clear to me that Arya has set a trap for the Waif. Arya knows that the faceless men will not let her stay alive and go to Westeros. In episode 6 (I believe) she hides her sword in her hideout. Then in episode 7 she casually walks around Braavos to lure the Waif. In episode 8 she lures the Waif to her hideout were she has prepared her sword in a dark room with only a candle. She changes her attitude when the Waif enters and cuts the candle to fight in the dark. It is no coincidence that Arya happens to run to her hideout. She is trained to fight blind, remember? After that her attitude is changed and she confronts Jaqen.

This was her plan from the start. Maybe the director could have made it more obvious but then it would have spoiled the surprise of fighting the Waif in the dark.

Amazing breathtaking and unexpected.Your jaw will drop to the floor.This episode perfectly sets up the nest season and what a thrilling way to dot it. The Actors specially Emilia Clarke Waooo she has outdone herself in this season I must say. A big shout out to Alan Taylor for his masterful direction and Imagination .Thank you to the creators of this show for giving us this Amazing Spectacle. Watch it drink it because you are going to be amazed.
Visually this episode is extremely well done, but the writing and editing of this really brings it down for me. It just didn't feel anything like Game of Thrones anymore, but rather a Hollywood action movie. I suppose it's hard to explain why.

Let's start with the fact that their whole plan to fetch the wight is absolutely ridiculous and makes no sense. So this pretty much makes the entire premise of the episode is stupid.

And the episode left me baffled from so many questions. Like, why didn't they bring horses? Why did they run in the opposite direction to Gendy (who was going back to Eastwatch)? And of course the whole time bending thing. Basically, this episode was really, really stretching my suspension of disbelief. It's probably the dumbest episode of the show yet.

Deus Ex Machinas - well, they weren't really Deus Ex Machinas, but rather everything just had to happen at the last possible time. Daenerys arrived just in time to save them, same with Benjen.

Game of Thrones has now resorted to using red shirts. They made the action all the more confusing.

There are plenty of other things that irked me and you might dismiss them as nitpicking, but if every single scene has something I can point to and say that doesn't make sense, it becomes a problem.

Quickly about the Arya thing. I don't hate it like others do. I think it makes absolute sense for Arya to act this way - she is a sociopath and a psychopath. I just don't like the execution of it - it feels forced and rushed.

And lastly we had a scene with Jon and Dany, which genuinely made me cringe. The moment he calls her Dany, I just facepalmed.
